It seems like the MelindaGates hack allows users to download a VMware image of a KMS server which activates Windows Vista Business/Enterprise edition, its creators claim.
There are no Corporate keys anymore for activating Windows so companies can host a local activation server which does not talk to m$ (KMS).
Another possibility can be found on this website. They have setup a KMS server where you can theoretically activate your copy too. So there is no need to download the VMware image
